It wasn't scary and is actually a bit satisfying like I just had a really good coupon. My point with this post is if you need WIC but are too nervous or don't think its for you JUST DO IT. The cashier was super nice and I didn't hold up a line hardly at all and at the end of it I was excited with how much baby food I was able to get and even a bit of food for me (though not as much, hubby and I are going to actually go shopping later). I went and got some stuff from my WIC checks today and again I was nervous for judgement, for holding up a checkout line, what if I did something wrong? I left feeling like I had finally accomplished something. I finally went and got it yesterday, I was very nervous about going to the health office.Įveryone at the office was very nice and not judgemental at all. I didn't realize I was one of the people who really needed it. I was too self conscious about the stigma, what people would think, I thought it wasn't really for me it was for people who really needed it. ![]() ![]() Since I've had LO almost 6 months ago I needed WIC but didn't get it.
